Green River Fishing Report 10/10/21 Flows have dropped some and are running 1310 CFS average. The cooler temps have brought snow to the hill and the leaves are in change. Dry flies:     We are seeing some good hatches of fall mayflies. Mostly seeing some psudos and a few baetis. Nymphing:  Small fall mayflies, midge, scuds, and worms are the main meal tickets. Hoppers, Beetles, and Other Big Bugs

Green River Fishing Report 9/2/21 Flows are in good shape along with good water temps. There are no closures due to water temps or flows. Dry flies:     Teresterialls are the name of the game for the next while. We are fishing everything from small beetle patterns all the way up to large ant and hopper patterns. Run some long drifts and feel free to give it some action. There are some smaller fall mayflies hatching in select areas that can be a lot of fun. Good water temps and flows.

Green River Fishing Report 7/29/21 Flows are in good shape along with good water temps. There are no closures due to water temps or flows. Dry flies:     While the hatches are slowing down we are still having some decent caddis coming off in the evenings and nights. We are also fishing some crickets, ants, and other smalish terrestrials. Nymphing:  Nymphing is good. Still some PMDs swimming around. Fish some frenchies, slim pt’s, juju’s, zebras, smaller scuds, and soft hackles. Streamers:  We’re starting to see some action on streamers early in the morning and some nice action on in the…

HATCH SEASON

Green River Fishing Report 5/29/21 The 2nd flush is winding down and flows are getting into good shape. Dry flies:     Hatch season is here. Caddis, sally’s, and PMDs. Nymphing:  Subsurface we are running caddis, PMDs, Zebras, small midge and scuds. Streamers:  Streamers are slowing down but on a cloudy day or early mornings and late evenings it can still be very good. Flows on the drop, fishing good.

Green River Fishing Report 5/29/21 The flush is winding down and flows are getting into good shape. This will be some of the best flows we will have this year. Flows will be back down to 860 CFS by June 5. Dry flies:     We are seeing, and hearing, some good cicadas. Summer hatches are right around the corner. With the dropping flows the caddis should be starting any day now. We have seen a few early PMDs. There are still a few BWOs around with fish up on them in select areas. Good spring time fishing right now.

Green River Fishing Report 5/1/21 Fishing has been good, flows are still low, water is still cold. The low water temps are preventing the BWOs from coming off thick, though we have still had good numbers of them around. Dry flies:     BWOs, midge and a few caddis. If you are in the right place at the right time you can get into some nice hatch fishing now. Nymphing:  Nymphing has been great. Find some water a bit of movement to it in the 2 to 5′ depth range. Midge and BWO are working best, Barr’s, WDs, Juju’s and Zebras…
