Green River Fishing Report 5/13/22 Flows are fluctuating throughout the day, with high flows from about 1100cfs at 10am. to noon rises to 2300cfs, and a 3RD BUMP AROUND 5PM TO 2500CFS. This flow continues to 11pm, when flows drop back to 1100cfs. Fishing remains good amid the fluctiuation.. we are starting to see some decent hatches of midge on the warmer days with a few BWOs mixed in. Streamers are still fishing well. Dry flies:     Some nice hatch of midge in the afternoon, earlier on the warmer days. BWOs are starting to thin out all though there have…

Midge and Streamers!

Green River Fishing Report 3/4/22 Flows are still low, 900 CFS, but fishing has been good. We are starting to see some decent hatches of midge on the warmer days with a few BWOs mixed in. Streamers are still fishing well. Dry flies:     Some nice hatch of midge in the afternoon, earlier on the warmer days. Very few BWOs though there have been a few around. Green River Fishing Report 1/3/22 Typical winter flows around 900CFS. Water temps are in the low 40’s. Fish have moved off of their beds are are now relocating into some of the deep and slow winter holds. Now is the time to start planning your winter streamer trip. Dry flies:     Very few winter baetis are coming off sporadically along with a few midge. Nymphing:  Small, and we mean small, baetis, midge, scuds are producing some fish. Midge pupa are a good bet. Green River Fishing Report 10/10/21 Flows have dropped some and are running 1310 CFS average. The cooler temps have brought snow to the hill and the leaves are in change. Dry flies:     We are seeing some good hatches of fall mayflies. Mostly seeing some psudos and a few baetis. Nymphing:  Small fall mayflies, midge, scuds, and worms are the main meal tickets.
