Good spring time fishing right now.

Green River Fishing Report 5/1/21

Fishing has been good, flows are still low, water is still cold. The low water temps are preventing the BWOs from coming off thick, though we have still had good numbers of them around.

Dry flies:

BWOs, midge and a few caddis. If you are in the right place at the right time you can get into some nice hatch fishing now.

Nymphing:

Nymphing has been great. Find some water a bit of movement to it in the 2 to 5′ depth range. Midge and BWO are working best, Barr’s, WDs, Juju’s and Zebras have been working well. Cover water until you find the fish feeding on the baetis.

Streamers:

Streamers are slowing down but on a cloudy day or early mornings and late evenings it can still be very good.

Stop in the shop and we can pick you out the best selection of flies and streamers for you day.  Any questions? Give us a call. 435-885-3355
