Green River Flows dropping into shape!

Fishing Report:

06-13-20, With the flows dropping 300 CFS a day we are getting into prime dry fly shape. We have good numbers of cicadas out and fish are looking up for them. Most of the ones we are seeing are on the smaller 8 to 10 size. We have seen some PMD’s and a few caddis around. As the flows drop and the water temps start climb we will have an explosion of caddis. Nymphing is always strong, worms and scuds have still be the main ticket but fish will soon be taking PMD, Sally, and Caddis nymphs heavily.

All river access is open.

Ashley Nation Forest has no closures due to COVID-19

Check their site for updates:

All campgrounds are open.

All that being said, we recommend everyone planning on visiting our area to be cautious. If you are sick, stay home. If you have been exposed to someone who has been sick, stay home.

Dry flies:

Cicadas, crickets and other teresterials have been working very well. There have been a few PMD”s and caddis around. Size 8 to 10 cicadas, Para crickets in 10 to 12, and Chernobyl’s are all working.

Scuds and worms still, PMD, Sally and Caddis are all going be be good right now with the latter three just getting hotter.

Streamers are fishing well on cloudy days, or early morning and latev evening being best.
