Colorful leaves and fish

Green River Fishing Report 10/10/21 Flows have dropped some and are running 1310 CFS average. The cooler temps have brought snow to the hill and the leaves are in change. Dry flies:     We are seeing some good hatches of fall mayflies. Mostly seeing some psudos and a few baetis. Nymphing:  Small fall mayflies, midge, scuds, and worms are the main meal tickets. Flows on the drop, fishing good.

Green River Fishing Report 5/29/21 The flush is winding down and flows are getting into good shape. This will be some of the best flows we will have this year. Flows will be back down to 860 CFS by June 5. Dry flies:     We are seeing, and hearing, some good cicadas. Summer hatches are right around the corner. With the dropping flows the caddis should be starting any day now....

Good spring time fishing right now.

The low water temps are preventing the BWOs from coming off thick, though we have still had good numbers of them around. Dry flies:     BWOs, midge and a few caddis. If you are in the right place at the right time you can get into some nice hatch fishing now. Nymphing:  Nymphing has been...

Warmer days and more bugs

Green River Fishing Report 3/24/21 We have been having some nice days with some warmer weather in the forecast. Dry flies:     Good midge hatches and more BWOs every day. We are still needing our water temp to climb a bit more to really get the bugs going but we're getting close. Nymphing:  Nymphing has been good. Find some water a bit of movement to it in the 2 to 5'...
